Job Description:

Insight Global is searching for a Maintenance Technician who is responsible for the daily operations of the manufacturing plant and assumes responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of general building maintenance, maintaining site services and manufacturing equipment repairs and services. Physical Demands within the job include use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc. This employee is also regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. Additional Qualifications Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and adjust to rapid changes Computer experiencegEducation and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree (A. A.) or Licensed Journeyman in lieu of degree or commensurate experience preferred. Proven expertise in troubleshooting controls systems, electric components, pneumatic, instrumentation and mechanical devices. Proven expertise in industrial electrical, including design, sizing, installation and component level troubleshooting. Experience in other fields of maintenance such as plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, welding, forklift repair, etc. Competent PC (MS Office and Windows) computer skills desired.
