We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary function of the Maintenance Tech is to maintain the individual's homes by completing routine and preventative maintenance. Ideal applicants will be a jack of all trades, with basic knowledge about a variety of home maintenance and repair needs, an excellent problem-solver, mechanically-inclined, and great communication skills.Applicants should have basic knowledge in most of the following areas:
- Drywall, painting
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Electric
- Appliance repair
- Furniture building
- Lawn care (mowing, weed-eating, etc.)
- Maintaining locks, locking mechanisms, repair
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to use tools
- A vehicle you can drive for work
- Background screen
- Ability to respond after-hours or on weekends during maintenance emergencies (occurs rarely)
Physical RequirementsAbility to bend, stoop, crouch, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time; climb a ladder; stand on a roof; enter crawl spaces or attics on stomach or hunched down; team lift 100 pounds; drive for duration of 2+ hours; operate a mower and/or other lawn equipment for extended hours; work outside in freezing temperatures or very hot temperatures.
