This all starts with our greatest asset...our employees.What You Will Be Doing:As a Facilities Maintenance Tech for Yancey Bros Co, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and repair procedure on Yancey's buildings and mechanical equipment.Primary Responsibilities:
- Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and periodic maintenance of equipment (pumps, gears, piping, etc)
- Backwash filter systems, clean foot valves and filtration systems
- General maintenance of buildings such as painting, concrete repairs, replacing light bulbs, sweeping, mopping and other general housekeeping duties
- Changing air filters on A/C units
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be able to work independently, have a mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Repair and troubleshoot basic mechanical equipment
- Must be able to work on high lift, up to 30 feet and lift up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to work in confined, dirty spaces
- Must be able to supply own tools for repairs to mechanical equipment (for things like pumps and gears)
- A Valid Class C Driver's License
