ALL TOOLS PROVIDED!**Interested candidates must be available to work a 4/10 schedule on 1st shift**Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery and facilities.Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Troubleshoot and repair a broad range of production equipment. This includes extruders, mills, mixers, electric and lighting, etc.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting up to 480V.
- Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Formal training is a plus.
- 3 years' minimum industrial maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and HVAC is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Working experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and mechanical repair.
- Ability to perform basic computer skills.
- Ability to work without supervision on projects and daily work.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to manage your time in an efficient and effective manner.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. This includes being proactive in your approach to all issues in order to identify or eliminate potential problem areas.
- Ability to take direction and carry out instructions from the supervisor in an orderly and efficient manner.

- Ability to work independently and in groups and be self-motivated in both settings.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in a variety of settings including an office, indoor manufacturing facility, warehouse, maintenance shop, and outdoors.
- The role routinely uses a variety of power tools and hand tools.
Physical Demands:
- Stands, kneels, walks 3-9 hours/day.
- Operates a Fork Lift.
- Lifts up to 50lbs.
- Performs twisting, bending, stooping motions.
- Works in confined spaces.
- Climbs ladders and works from heights.
