Essential Functions
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Requires significant process expertise and experience, the use of independent judgement, high level troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with no supervision.
- Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and PLC controls, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues. Ability to troubleshoot resourcefully with minimal OEM support.
- Understands programming logic and computer control for CNC and manual (lathe, Bridgeport) machines to be able to efficiently troubleshoot and repair machines.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; and examining form and texture of parts.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate technical problems to OEM suppliers to resolve problems is a timely manner.Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
- Must operate a forklift on a regular basis.
- Services facility needs, such as building maintenance and general upkeep.
- Uses computer software to complete maintenance tasks and respond to maintenance requests.

Hours of shift may vary depending on business needs, but varies between 5:00 am - 4:30 pm, with a schedule of 40 hours per week.
