Clark Retirement is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance (PM) activities to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive working environment. This technician will primarily work on projects and work orders at the Keller Lake Campus but may assist at the Franklin Campus as needed. Starting pay rate is $20-22/hour. Key Skills & Qualities
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, with a focus on preventive maintenance activities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other maintenance-related instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues, managers, and external contractors/vendors.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces when required.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the prescribed schedule.
- Carry out repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure their optimal functionality.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, filter replacement, belt adjustment, and calibration, on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from various departments or individuals within the organization.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and PM activities, including performed tasks, materials used, and equipment condition
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for equipment upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance overall reliability.
- Comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures to maintain a secure work environment and prevent accidents or injuries
