Maintenance TechnicianWho we are looking for:We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe and operable condition of machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.What you'll do:Maintenance Technician's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:•Maintain and repair equipment used to manufacture, package, convey, and store PVC conduit.Ensure safe and operable condition of machinery and mechanical components by completing required PMs on engines, motors, and pneumatic tools.•Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals•Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediatelyWhat you'll bring:•High School diploma or equivalent•Mechanical skill set experience•Knowledge of manufacturing processes desired•Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted Within 3 months, you'll:•Complete any required training•Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.•Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.Who we are:Atkore is a four-time Great Place to Work© certified company and a two-time Top Workplaces USA award winner!
