Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Sheboygan, WI Status: Full-time, Permanent Industry: Food IndustryResponsibilities: Quickly address production maintenance requests to prevent equipment downtime. Perform regular equipment inspections and schedule preventative maintenance activities. Manage requisitions for equipment and necessary supplies to ensure efficient operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, electrical systems, and production line machinery. Collaborate with the team to identify recurring issues and implement permanent fixes. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. Support quality initiatives by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Quality Food Program standards. Take on additional tasks as directed by the maintenance manager Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical college, or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of maintenance experience, within a manufacturing setting. -Strong background in machinery and equipment maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Practical experience in electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Familiarity with PLC systems, including basic troubleshooting and programming. Knowledgeable in hydraulics and pneumatics, with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
