Our client, in the Davie area within, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Facilities team supporting building maintenance and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Davie

Pay Range: $18

What's the Job?

• Perform repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various building components, including locks, doors, and fixtures.
• Maintain and repair plumbing components such as toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
• Complete general handyman tasks, including painting and minor office furniture repairs.
• Conduct facility inspections, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety compliance.
• Handle service tickets for minor repairs

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is desirable.
• 1=2 years of experience in building repair, maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical work.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform overhead work, and handle various physical tasks.
