Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

* Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment.

* Troubleshooting electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints.

* Performing equipment installation, PMs, and completing assigned projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

* The Maintenance Technician will be maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.

* Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.

* Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.

* Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.

* Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in eMaintenance System.

* Complete all required and applicable training required by Adient.

* Must be willing to work overtime as needed (daily, weekly, shutdowns etc.)

* Must be willing to work any shift on short, but reasonable notice.

* Must continuously improve and develop skills/knowledge.

* Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor

* Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.

* Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift

* Excellent attendance and steady work history.

Experience and Education Requirements

* 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.

* Industrial automotive experience (Preferred).

* Mechanical, Technical & Electrical Expertise (Preferred).

* High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred).

Job and Physical Requirements

* The Maintenance Technician must be able to work on 2nd shift (Mon - Fri, 2:00pm - 10:00pm).

* Ability to lift 30lbs.

* Ability to safely access vertical areas via stairs or ladder.

* Ability to safely work with Power Tools.

* Standing or walking 6-8 hours to assist production.

* Bending, Pushing, & Pulling.
