Location: Traverse City,MI, USA
Essential Functions: Performs preventative and/or routine maintenance on equipment Trouble shoots and diagnoses problems, equipment issues, and executes repairs Works with manufacturing and engineering staff to problem solve and assure repairs are completed correctly Ensures new equipment is operating properly, including utility hook ups Maintains building systems including: compressed air, water, sewer, and electrical Knowledge and experience: Strong knowledge of machine controls - programming and wiring Ability to read and/or understand machine manuals, wiring diagrams, blue prints and schematics Basic computer navigation ability - email, internet, applications, etc. Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, electrical, plumbing and welding Additional requirements: Ability to operate welding equipment, forklift, drill press, milling machines, and other maintenance equipment Organized, works within a process, excellent problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment Willingness to learn new things Safely lifts and / or moves up to 50lbs Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands; Frequently will talk/hear, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; Occasionally will sit Educational requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
