Full time - 40 hours / week plus on-call
$23.00 /hour
Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to perform preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance safely, accurately and in a timely manner.
* Experience with general HVAC repairs, pump and filter maintenance
* Solid painting, plumbing and carpentry skills
* Knowledge of basic electrical repairs
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are thoroughly and accurately completed
* Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to listen and communicate professionally.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Satisfies service requests per work orders, following company procedures
* Observes condition of general facility, mechanical room, and/or other areas and reports any unusual circumstances
* Repair/replace ceiling tiles, light fixtures, display boards,
* Services plumbing and electrical fixtures
* Checks locks for functionality
* Performs regular inspections of the building, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment
* Makes repairs and replacements as necessary with the approval of the Chief Facility Engineer and/or Facility Manager
* Inspects motor/VAV boxes for any needed maintenance or repairs
* On call for emergency duty
* Familiar with power, water, and gas turnoffs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants
* Assists in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
* Ensures facility and property is neat, clean and free of trash and debris
* Attends all required instructional classes
* Assists with any additional duties as required by management.
* Must have valid driver's license.
