POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Maintenance Technician at Host + Home, you will play a vital role in ensuring our vacation rental properties are well-maintained and guest-ready. You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, identifying maintenance issues, and performing repairs and upgrades as needed. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be key in preventing problems before they arise.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Your ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot problems, and find creative solutions will be invaluable in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct regular inspections of vacation rental properties to identify maintenance needs
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing air filters, checking smoke detectors, and cleaning gutters
Handle repairs and upgrades related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems
Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns regarding maintenance issues
Collaborate with housekeeping and operations teams to ensure properties are guest-ready
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and supplies used
Assist with preventive maintenance planning and implementation
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years experience in vacation rental maintenance, hotels, or timeshares.
property management experience is a huge plus.
drivers license.
clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other maintenance disciplines
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Flexibility to work weekends and be on-call for emergencies
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $19 - $25.50
