Responsible for maintaining machines in the best running condition, troubleshooting all machines problems, responding to all maintenance calls promptly, and solving machine-related issues with the least amount of downtime.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
NOT LIMITED too but include the following: Basic electrical troubleshooting and basic fabrication comprehend PLC ladder logic, and safely use various hand tools, pressing equipment, mills, drill presses, grinders, sanders, and lift equipment. The maintenance Mechanic will also perform shut down procedures, check the power, water, and maintain required written reports and documentation. Duties also include performing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on production support equipment such as compressors, Ovens, dryers, lifts, fix pumps, etc.
- Maintaining equipment records by documenting preventative maintenance, repairs, and modifications of equipment by using CMMS program Dude Solutions
- Supports ongoing operation and longevity of all machinery and mechanical equipment used in manufacturing by performing scheduled preventative maintenance including cleaning machine mechanisms and parts, inspecting parts for wear and damage, lubrication, examining electrical components/connections, and adjusting as needed
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by following all safe work practices.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May assist in developing preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for equipment
- May be needed to take inventory and order parts
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent twisting, bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, climbing, standing within an 8-hour work period
- Physical ability to do work that requires repetitive lifting/pulling/carrying weights ranging from 1 to 50lbs
COMPETENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Must be able to communicate and instruct fellow team members
- Diagnose machine breaks
- Fabricate and be able to troubleshoot machine parts
- Perform daily PM's to full machine rebuilds on a revolving schedule
- Have common machine, tool, electrical, and PLC knowledge
- Electrical trainee card or certificate to diagnose electrical panels
- Able to watch over plant quality of dip and other manufacturing needs

- Versatility and understanding that the equipment needs to be working at a level for the production team to reach their goals
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Basic mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- General machinery repair
PREFERRED:
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years in industrial maintenance and/or repair of manufacturing equipment
- Reading and comprehension of schematics, drawings, and technical references; equipment repair; manual dexterity; basic math; interpersonal communication
