Job DescriptionJob Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician in our Middleburgh Manufacturing site to support the setup, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing equipment in pharmaceutical production, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and operational efficiency. Your role also involves assisting in troubleshooting, data analysis, and documentation management. Responsibilities:
- Able to carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and improvements on infrastructure and equipment.
- Maintain the maintenance, preventive maintenance and metrology programs through updates and ongoing activities.
- Conducts regulatory and compliance inspections.
- Writes/updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Maintenance & Calibration Plans.
QualificationsEducational qualification:
- Experience, training and/or college degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- Candidates without a degree having maintenance and/or electrical experience (preferably in the food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic industry) will be considered.
- Electrical training and/or certifications is beneficial.
Minimum work experience: 2 years Skills & attributes: Technical Skills
- Experience in an industry that has quality and regulatory interactions preferred.
- Good documentation practices.
- Maintain a safe work environment & follow safety management systems.
- Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance systems.
- Must possess good computer skills: Microsoft platforms and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Building Management System (BMS) knowledge is beneficial.
- Must be able to offset regular working schedule to accommodate the requirements of the business unit.
Behavioral skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of plant personnel, customers and vendors as necessary.
- Must possess high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in team environment as well as individually to complete tasks and projects.
- Good technical communication skills both written and verbal.
