Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.Job Summary: Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager, you will follow all established procedures and policies while producing a product that meets or exceeds available standards while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency to meet the goals of the company. This is for a 2nd and/or 3rd shift position, i.e. night shift.Job Responsibilities:Conduct general repairs & maintenance to facility and grounds as assigned.Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.Respond and perform assigned duties in a timely manner per work order program.Perform assigned duties following GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES .Attend Daily Production Meeting if required.Maintain records and logs as required.Support change over and start up of assigned area.Support SQF through the monitoring of incoming services.Maintain the Calibration Program.Support SQF by maintaining the Preventive Maintenance Program.Support SQF by completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.Job Qualifications:GED or High School Education.At least 3 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.Basic computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).Excellent troubleshooting experience.Strong communication skills.Multi-task individual.Ability to work independently or with little supervision.Physical Demands:Standing: Long periods (up to 8 hours).Sitting: Occasionally for short periods.Walking: Long periods.Bending & Twisting: Frequently.Lifting: Heavy (50+ lbs).Carrying: Heavy (40-60 lbs).Pushing/Pulling: Under 75 lbs. without assistance frequently.SQF Requirements / Responsibilities:Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.Behaviors:Dedicated - Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity.Team Player - Works well as a member of a group.Innovative - Consistently introduces new ideas and demonstrates original thinking.Detail Oriented - Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.Education:High School (preferred).Experience:1 year: Troubleshooting experience (preferred).1 year: Basic computer skills (preferred).3 years: Maintenance Mechanic in manufacturing environment (preferred).Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
