Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support and repair on all vehicles, equipment, machinery, tools and facilities owned by Cimarron
- Maintain duties and repairs in a timely manner to ensure production is not interrupted
- Follow up after Safety Inspections and ensuring that all needed repairs detected during inspections are completed in a timely manner. Documentation of repairs is to be completed and returned in a timely manner as well.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
- Float to other departments at any time as needed by the Company
- Follow all policies and procedures as directed by Cimarron Trailers
- Regular attendance is a critical function of this job
- This position is considered a safety sensitive position and is subject to periodic or random scheduled fitness for duty exams and/or drug or alcohol screening.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Education and Experience:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Welding experience
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to read a tape measure to 1/16's of an inch
- Able to use welding and various cutting equipment in the completion of duties
- Knowledge of Industrial wiring 110, 220, 440, 600, 24 UDL
- Knowledge of auto mechanics, electrical motors, relays, terminal blocks
- Knowledge and ability to work with plumbing, air, water, and gas lines
- Able to repair or rebuild pneumatic and electric hand tools
- Knowledge and ability to work with basic heat and air conditioning systems
- Able to work effectively and communicate with your team and other teams.
- Must be an organized, self-motivated, self-starter and able to work independently.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Able to maintain regular work schedule to ensure product flow
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Physical Demands:
- Able to stand and move about the facility for prolonged periods of time, including up to an entire 8 hour shift as well as any required overtime.
- Able to stoop, bend, twist, squat, and kneel during the course of the day
- Able to use hands and arms to repetitively grip, twist, squeeze and otherwise use tools such as welding guns, plasma torches, pneumatic and electric hand tools and other hand tools throughout the 8 hour shift as well as any required overtime
- Frequent and repetitive lifting of up to 25 lbs. throughout shift and occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. individually throughout the shift. Anything over 50 lbs. is team-lifted.
- Able to safely and effectively handle necessary tools required to perform the essential functions of the position.

Work Environment:
- Combination of typical non air-conditioned plant and outdoor environment.
- Exposed to any number of elements, extreme heat & cold, working in and out of doors between buildings
- Exposed to loud noise throughout shift - hearing protection is required for this job
- Exposed to smoke/fumes from welding operations
