Our client is looking to fill a maintenance technician role in Philadelphia, PA. The company is looking for a strong mechanical, multi-craft technician who would be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance on their industrial baking and packaging systems.The maintenance technician effectively troubleshoots breakdowns and contributes to the root cause identification and with the resolutions to reduce unplanned downtime. You are responsible along with operations for equipment operating safely, and efficiently to ensure operational conformance and product quality.This job requires strong communication, and interpersonal team skills to support site objectives. There are often three techs per shift to make sure everyone always has support. They are flexible with shift options including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift depending on preferences. This organization is family-owned and operated and takes a customer-first approach to large-scale, private-label baking. They serve variety of key markets in the U.S. and around the globe. They support customers from initial concept and product development to full-scale production, packaging, managed delivery, and beyond. This organization already has a well-established maintenance team and folks with prior military experience to help new technicians get up to speed with the equipment.Base salary, $60K - $65K, with great growth opportunities, overtime, and full benefits.
