Full-Time. M-F; 0800 to 1630 History: Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years, but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20, and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the facility operating and completing necessary repairs. To be successful, a maintenance technician must have the ability to develop relationships and possess great interpersonal communications with other departments. This individual should be extremely organized and be able to simultaneously work on multiple tasks. This individual should be able to work independently and have the ability to troubleshoot issues with general equipment, machines, and overall facilities.RequirementsEducation:
- Entry level position
- Ability to read and write English
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
- OSHA 10 Training required within 90 days of hire, preferred.
Experience:
- Prior maintenance experience preferred
