Hourly Range: $27-34 Depending upon experience
The Maintenance Technician is a multi-skilled craftsperson responsible for the installation/start-up and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical processes used in manufacturing, as well as support equipment located in the building or on the grounds-the objective being to maximize production and functional longevity and appearance of the building, grounds and equipment.
What You Will Do:
* Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
* Preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
* Responsible for first-level repairs and general maintenance tasks.
* Observes devices and equipment in operation and troubleshoot problems.
* Under general supervision, performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical and building systems.
* May assist with installation and preparations of equipment for startup.
* Repairs or replaces defective parts and installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
* Perform all PM's when scheduled and make repairs or replace items found broken or missing. (Sensors, Motors, sprockets, chains, gearboxes etc.)
* Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
* Experience with wire tracing and troubleshooting in control cabinets.
* Assists with pump, motor, gearbox, rollers, chain, etc. installs.
* Must be able to weld, grind, use torches and drill press.
* Fabrication experience is a plus.
* Perform all PM's when scheduled and make repairs or replace items found broken or missing. (Sensors, Motors, sprockets, chains, gearboxes etc.).
