This includes Transformers, Conductor, Pole line Hardware, Lighting, Underground Accessories, Grounding Equipment, Guying, Insulators, Protective Equipment, Distribution and Transmission Poles, Utility Tools, and Safety Supplies. About the RoleAs a Maintenance Technician, you will work together with the Manager of Safety and Compliance to maintain the day-to-day needs of all the facilities within the Louisville and Frankfort area. This role will include overseeing the coordination of project management as well as maintenance of in-house machinery, assigned project task systems and compliance documentation.What you'll be doing:
  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems
  • Assist with monitoring building equipment and systems for day-to-day needs
  • Work with leadership, vendors, contractors and coworkers to ensure safe workspaces
  • Assist in coordinating or performing preventative maintenance on forklifts and shrink wrap equipment
  • Maintain inventory of frequently used maintenance items and their disbursement
  • Support Security Manager with coordinating and maintaining secure access
  • Accountable for maintaining company pool car fleet maintenance and scheduling
  • Support Compliance Manager in housekeeping inspections and solutions for a safer workplace
  • Support and cross train in various areas for incident reporting
Our ideal candidate will benefit from having the following skills/experience:
  • Strong technical knowledge of all building systems such as general electric, HVAC and plumbing preferred
  • Possess or able to obtain OSHA certification, OSHA 30-hour, and forklift certification
  • 3 years of Facilities Maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to be called-in after hours, weekends or holidays in case of an emergency
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to travel between locations in the Louisville and Frankfort area as needed
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, frequently bend, walk, climb, push/pull, stand or sit
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
