Position OverviewThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to ensure continuous operation
- Perform predictive maintenance tasks to identify potential issues and address them before they become major problems
- Assist with mill and packaging equipment maintenance as needed
- Perform HVAC and utility operations maintenance
- Conduct inspections and tests on boilers and compressors
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Knowledge of facility equipment and maintenance procedures
- Experience with preventative maintenance, repair, and predictive maintenance
- Knowledge of HVAC and utility operations
- Experience with boilers and compressors
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Maintenance Tech or similar certification is preferred
