Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Location: Columbia, MO Salary: $28-$42 an hour Requirements: Knowledge of PLC, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration systems and process technologyPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in the manufacturing industry. The main responsibility of the Maintenance Technician will be troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. They will be working with other team members to optimize production capabilities and minimize downtime. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and HVAC systems is a plus.Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and make necessary repairs
- Collaborate with production operators to identify potential problems and improve efficiency
- Document maintenance and repairs performed, and maintain inventory of spare parts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and HVAC systems is a plus
- Experience with welding, machining, and fabrication is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends as neede
