Borusan Berg Pipe is one of the leading manufacturers of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with three U. S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking full-time Millwrights for our Mobile, Alabama location. Selected candidates must be able to work rotating schedules, which may include nights, weekends, and work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

* Entry rate: $35.11 per hour

Primary Duties
* Perform onsite work adhering to safety guidelines for PPE, lock out tag out, fall protection and confined space entry
* Follow instructions, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
* Operate equipment including drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, pipe bender, stick welder, MIG welder, cutting torch, band saw, lifting/rigging equipment, man lift, forklift, and overhead crane
* Tests, inspects, dismantles, repairs, replaces, or installs mechanical and hydraulic components, high or low-pressure piping, fittings, valves, cylinders and fixtures, as required for maintenance and construction of pipe lines for air, water, oil, gas, waste, etc.
* Answer calls and troubleshoot faulty equipment
* Dismantle, clean, adjust, test and repair equipment
* Safely perform blocking and rigging and ensures proper use of chain falls, come-a-longs and safety equipment.
* Use Maximo software to log tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily
Education & Work Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
* Obtain passing score of 65% on mechanical knowledge assessment (Required)
* Successfully complete practical skills assessment (Required)
* Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred)
* Post-secondary technical education (Preferred)
