Sequel is looking to round out it's maintenance staff by adding maintenance support on the night shift. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be an integral part of our manufacturing team with responsibilities for:Performing preventive maintenance (PM's) on our newest-generation equipment to keep it in top working conditionReading equipment manuals and schedules, and tracking/documenting periodic maintenance tasks performed as part of the job dutiesAssisting night operators with maintenance issues, enabling them to produce quality products on their shiftHands on responsibility for maintaining all equipment, and transferring information and known issues during shift changeMonitor building systems and maintain, diagnose and repair as necessary (steam boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, etc.)The successful candidate must be a hands on team player with strong interpersonal skills capable of professionally interacting with all levels of the organization. Strong attention to detail, an inquisitive mind, and the willingness to take ownership of the assigned job responsibilities will also help this candidate be successful.Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k), and the opportunity to be part of the a great organization.RequirementsJob qualifications include:•High School diploma•Experience in wire and cable manufacturing equipment a plus•Read and comprehend production Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)•Adhere to all safety procedures•Self-motivated and able to work effectively unsupervised •Maintain cleanliness of equipment at all times•Ability to work in a team oriented environment•Working knowledge of computers•Meet physical requirements, such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods (up to 12 hours)•Must be able to work weekends as necessary and be on call for critical equipment needs•Proximity to Argos, IN is a plus
