We are seeking a new Maintenance Technician to join our team. Your role will be to maintain, install, repair and modify mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system throughout the building, as well of seasonal snow removal as necessary for safety. This is a customer -facing position and has a high expectation of communication and time management. As a member of the Facilities department, you will work with fellow Maintenance Technicians, Floor Technicians, Facilities Manager, and report to our Director of Facilities and Environmental Services. This role will work directly with residents and assistant them with maintenance needs.
What You Will Do:
* Make security and equipment rounds
* Maintain the fire alarms system and respond to fire alarm reset
* Perform repairs as needed; such as inside and outside lighting, misc. electrical, plumbing, doors and windows, HVAC, etc
* Make routine checks of all elevator systems
* Install and maintain data for preventative maintenance on equipment on computer.
* Assist with product deliveries and new equipment placement. Install and repair all kitchen equipment.
* Make mechanical rounds
* Perform PM maintenance on all building equipment as assigned.
* Performs snow removal responsibilities as necessary for safety.
