Role Objectives & Responsibilities

The Field Services Painting Technician is responsible for the repair of small holes, including filling, sanding, and painting matching colors as needed for areas or complete repainting as directed. Additional responsibilities include:

* Removal and safe disposal of old paint and materials, following any local, city, state, or federal guidelines

* Performing routine maintenance and cleanings

* Updates, documents, and completes work orders within SLA

* Communicates with clients and customers

* Orders, tracks and maintains equipment

* Ability to meet productivity and KPI objectives related to service requests

* Ability to support emergency work orders

* Must be able to prep all surfaces properly for paint and resurfacing

* Must have a vast knowledge of paint, paint products, and executing a quality product

* Must be able to climb and work from a ladder

* Ability to resurface tubs, showers, countertops, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

* High school diploma or GED equivalent

* Demonstrated experience in paint, prep, cleaning, and resurfacing

* Lift over 50 lbs. as part of daily function

* The ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

* Must be able to work in environmentally and physically challenging working conditions

* Ability to meet and maintain the requirements to drive a company vehicle

* Travel outside of the assigned coverage area, when needed

* Must be able to complete continuing ed to keep up with market standards.

* This position will require proof of experience and references
