Shift/Schedule Needs Detail: 9a-3:30pm, Sun-Tuesday, 9a-3:30pm Thursday-Saturday, flexible
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, operation, safety, and general condition of our building. This includes, but is not limited to, painting, plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). In this role, the individual must also pay close attention to the overall interior and exterior appearance of the building and common areas. In this position, you will interact with residents daily and respond timely to their maintenance requests providing exceptional customer service.
What will you do in this role:
* Perform basic building and resident apartment maintenance, including: preventative maintenance, basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, HVAC, snow removal, etc.
* Perform miscellaneous errands as needed
* Interact with residents, families, staff, and other visitors to the community in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner
* Honor residents' personal and property rights and maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information
* Assist vendors and employees with building access as requested
You have:
* Must possess a general knowledge and experience of preventative maintenance, general repairs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting in a professional setting. Ability to work with hand and power tools, able to self manage and work with a team.
* Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary
