This role will ensure all areas of the facility are operating efficiently and properly by performing all general maintenance duties and responsibilities inside and outside the manufacturing facility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
  • Performs general sanitation of the maintenance department by organizing supplies, tools, equipment, and more
  • Ensures the maintenance area is kept neat, clean, and safe
  • Layouts, assembles, installs, dismantles, maintains and repairs equipment, updates or replaces existing equipment, updates technology, prepares for repair or replacement, PM's, and keeps it running efficiently
  • Performs preventive maintenance inspection (PM) on all equipment
  • Assures that spare parts are stocked and available for immediate use to minimize downtime
  • Reads and understands electrical and mechanical prints and /or flowcharts to verify correct setup and usage
  • Works with outside vendors for facility and/or equipment repair
  • Repairs and maintains physical property to look neat and clean
  • Maintains the inside of the plant such as bathroom plumbing, fire system, lighting, etc ensuring it is working properly
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures within the company
  • Operates special maintenance equipment
  • Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and advises leadership if additional work is needed or cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times
  • Will perform additional responsibilities when required
RequirementsWhat You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of 2 years of related mechanical or electrical experience and/or training
  • Working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to drive a forklift, and maneuver an electric pallet jack to load tractor-trailers and other vehicles when needed
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work alone most of the time or in a small group
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide a working atmosphere that is positive and productive
  • High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate others
  • Has the ability to use Google Suit including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Ability to work first, second, and third shifts and weekends when needed to ensure projects are completed
