Maintenance Technician/ Wash Tech

Description: Responsible for the completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order-related software programs Responsible for implementing routine physical improvements Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories, and logs Implement, with the Supervisor, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings. Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct, and best practices Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with co-workers and vendors. Utilize materials, supplies, tools, and other building property in a safe, productive manner Assist customers and team members in all ways that make us the fastest car wash on land Wash tech duties could include vehicle prep, tunnel operation, equipment cleaning, sales, window cleaning, vacuuming, other interior cleaning duties, and general site housekeeping. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Proven experience as a maintenance technician Previous experience in property management, maintenance, or construction Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime Willing to travel to other nearby markets if needed Must be comfortable working in multiple locations, across multiple properties on any given day Attention to detail: maintenance issues must be documented and reported. Time tracking is also important so work can be appropriately assigned and billed. An active listener who can think quickly and critically under pressure Able to confidently solve complex problems quickly, while controlling costs Must be a self-starter, and able to recognize need before a task is assigned Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Experience: Maintenance: 2 + years Car Wash Experience: No Experience is required, we will train you! License/Certification: Driver's License Location: On the road Additional Info: Compensation: $20-$25 /hr
