This program is designed for students interested in advancing their careers and obtaining a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.).This is a stackable two-year doctoral program, delivered online, offering working professionals the flexibility needed to balance their responsibilities and advance their careers. The program includes a three-day summer intensive, providing an opportunity for students and faculty to cultivate professional relationships. Courses focus on educational systems, policy and reform, ethical and strategic leadership, and research. Research completed over the two-year program culminates in the creation of a Problem of Practice (POP).Required Qualifications All part-time faculty applicants must have the following:
- Doctoral Degree (required)
- Experience as an educational leader
Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are desired:
- Practical Educational Leadership experience in TK-12 and Administration
- Background with technology and learning management systems
- Experience with program development, project management, and curriculum
- Experience with action research
