JOB DESCRIPTION Tool Crib & Maintenance Reports to: Maintenance Manager General Expectations: The tool crib position is essential for issuing team members tools while recording and maintaining our team members filing system. The position requires a combination of managing the tool crib, repairing staple guns, repairing hand tools, changing router bits, changing hole saw bits and many other miscellaneous daily repairs as needed done through the day. You will also distribute supplies such as gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses, batteries, bits, knee pads, safety knives, etc... Duties / Responsibilities: Work the tool crib window to manage supply distribution. Repair, clean, and tune up tools as needed. Repair Senco tools. Change router and hole saw bits. Repair electric cords and hoses. Replace glue tips at build tables. Change blades on chop and table saws. Issue and file paperwork for team member tools. Keep the tool crib clean and organized. Receive crib supplies from vendors and put away. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required: Ability to work respectfully with team members. Good communication skills. Ability to trouble shoot or willing to learn to troubleshoot tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate issues to managers as needed.
