Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Maintenance Trades Helper on a Government contract with a place of performance at El Paso TX.Position SummaryThe Maintenance Trades Helper will assist Material Handling Equipment operational teams in the upload/download of equipment operations by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill such as:* Perform Ground Guiding (Primary Duty)* Performing Road Guard duties for operation support* Keeping the HEO team supplied with materials and tools, cleaning working area, machine, and equipment assisting heavy equipment operator by holding materials or tools and performing other unskilled tasks as directed by journeyman.* The kind of work the helper is permitted to perform varies from trade to trade.* In some trades the helper is confined to supplying, lifting, and holding materials and tools, and cleaning working area and in others, the worker is permitted to perform specialized machine operations, or parts of a trade that are also performed by workers on full-time basis.Basic Qualifications:* Must have at least one year's experience in a relevant field* US Citizen* High school diploma or equivalent 18 years of age* Valid state driver's license.* Lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 50 lbs. (Team lift) with the frequent or constant lifting of 40 lbs.* Must be able to stand for at least two continuous hours.* Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, and snow and sleet.Desired Qualifications:* Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), AllVeterans, Military Spouses, Women, Minorities and Individuals with Disabilities are encouraged to apply.
