Currently looking for a Maintenance Training Specialist to join a Chemical Manufacturing company based in Texas City, TX!
Education & Requirements
- 5+ years of Maintenance experience as an I&E Journeyman or Millwright or in a maintenance specialist capacity in a chemical manufacturing plant.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (i.e., OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, RCRA)
- 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
- 2+ years training experience preferred.
Experience & Technical Skills:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing plant as this role will be required to train and qualify maintenance employees on critical equipment.
- Knowledgeable and hands on experience with manufacturing equipment such as, but not limited to pump, compressor, heat exchanger, valves, piping and instrumentation systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (i.e., OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, RCRA)
- Possess skills, knowledge, and training related to implementation of Life Saving rules.
- Strong knowledge of chemicals and their safe handling.
- Strong process troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft products, iShare, SAP).
- Experience with maintenance activities
- Experience with Emergency Response
- Systematic Operation – Must understand/support critical elements to Safety and Operation and understand site procedures and practices to support delivery of the Operations Strategy.
