Location: Elmhurst,NY, USA
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-union position. Hours of work are scheduled around our clinic hours which are currently Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some further weekend and/or evening hours may be needed in emergency and project situations. Overtime is paid if the work week goes over 40 hours
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Preferred Education and Experience: Experience doing maintenance work in a similar type of environment; clean driving record; authorization to work in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish and/or Korean is a plus. Should be comfortable with using Microsoft Office or similar type programs, scheduling and messaging apps
Travel: A valid driver's license is required. Travel between offices as needed to transport machines, equipment, and supplies.

Transport equipment, machines, and supplies as requested.
Maintain outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways; seasonal duties include fall leaf removal, and winter de-icing and clearing of snow (Elmhurst and Fordham locations)
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Manages the collection and removal of recyclable materials in accordance with the designated schedule.
Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol
As instructed by the supervisor, schedule and perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Perform a variety of simple plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Detect faulty operations, and defective material and report on any unusual situations.
As instructed, provide or arrange emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
