Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on some mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the TAO Group properties in New York City. This includes, but is not limited to, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, as well as basic woodworking skills. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the TAO Group properties in New York City. * Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems. * Install and repair new equipment. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed. * Comply with all safety regulations. * Work independently and as part of a team. * Meet deadlines and work under pressure. * Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. * Perform basic woodworking tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and assembling wood. * Install and repair furniture and fixtures. * Repair and replace damaged wood surfaces. **Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent. * 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial setting. * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles. * Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems. * Experience with operating basic hand tools and power tools. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. * Ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude. * Basic woodworking skills. **Physical Demands:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
