Job Summary Perform various basic multi-craft tasks in general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings, including installing, repairing, and replacing electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Responsibilities Job Duty 1 - Perform basic installation, repair, and replacement of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems components. Job Duty 2 - Perform general maintenance and upkeep of buildings; inspect assigned buildings/related fixtures, mechanical equipment, machines, and other structural components. Job Duty 3 - Transport tools, equipment, and personnel to and from the job site. Job Duty 4 - Obtain equipment and supplies required to complete assignments. Job Duty 5 - May coordinate contractor service delivery. Job Duty 6 - Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma Required ExperienceTwo to three years of job-related experience Proposed Salary Pay Range: $17.98-$24.45/hr. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities SKILLSPosition requires the ability to operate hand/power tools, motor vehicles (may include forklifts), and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. A basic working knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair and building construction support and maintenance is required. The use of specialized computer applications may be required.
