Job Description:

Position SummaryResponsible for maintaining safety, equipment repairs, and modifying all manufacturing machines and facility equipment.Job FunctionsPerform emergency repairs, daily inspections, and routine adjustments.Manage preventive maintenance schedule.Responsible for maintenance of building equipment, which includes, but is not limited to: compressed air, forklifts, metal production saws, hydraulics, and building safety equipment.Effectively communicate with production personnel to identify problematic areas of concern.Maintain organized documentation, inspection records, etc.Actively participate in creating a safety-oriented culture.Perform other duties as required or assigned by the operations manager.Required Qualifications/SkillsMust work effectively in a team settingMust be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for 8 hours/day, and walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, crouch or crawlAbility to understand schematics, drawings, and machinery manualsSuccessfully complete a background check and drug screenEffective communication skillsOther Desired Qualifications/SkillsKnowledge in examining and testing elements of electrical systems is a plusExperience with forklift repair, metal production saws, overhead cranes/doorsProficiency with Microsoft Office Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
