Job Title: Maintenance WorkerJob Summary: CASES is a leading non-profit organization in New York City, dedicated to providing innovative alternatives to incarceration and comprehensive services for individuals impacted by the justice system. Our mission is to drive positive change and support transformative outcomes for our community.We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to ensure that our office spaces are clean, organized, and presentable. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks to support a pleasant and functional work environment. The Maintenance Worker will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and efficient office environment.Salary: The hourly salary for the Maintenance Worker position is $22.00 an hour. Shift Hours: The Maintenance Worker position is full time from Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm. Location Address: 4 West 125th Street New York, NY 10027.Workplace Flexibility: The Maintenance Worker position is on-site. What you will be doing: Cleans and maintains offices, workstations, restrooms, and clinicDisposes of garbage in accordance with the facility scheduleCompletes minor repairs as noted aboveCompletes work orders and updates status in facilities request systemAccepts and distribute deliveries of supplies, and other program materialsAssists in inventory controlKeeps shredders/photocopiers clean and fills paper as neededCompletes messenger runs, as neededTravels to other locations in the 5 boroughs, as directedPerform other duties as requiredWhat we are looking for: High School diploma or GED required, or equivalent related work experience. A minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance or handyperson roles, with proven track record of successfully completing tasks and projects. Basic computer proficiency, including internet navigation, email management, online training platform utilization, and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
