Our 14 locations span across the Town of Hempstead house over 1,400 low income senior citizens. Job Description: The General Laborer/ Maintenance Worker will be working in all aspects of maintenance including, but not limited to: Carpentry Plumbing Electrical Landscaping Janitorial Painting General labor Snow Removal Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm hours with overtime available. Compensation: Up to $19.00-23.00/Hour after 6 month probationary period with annual increases Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage after 6 month probationary period Retirement Program after 6 month probationary period Vacation/Sick/Personal/Holiday Time after 6 month probationary periodQualifications: Must be able to pass drug test Minimum Age of 18 Years Old Must be able to lift 50 lbs
