For detailed information on Benefits for this position, click here.UW Medical Center-Northwest - Facilities and Maintenance has an outstanding opportunity to hire a MAINTENANCE WORKER.WORK SCHEDULE40hours per week, Day ShiftPOSITION HIGHLIGHTSUnder the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and Senior Lead Engineer, the Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repair dutiesBe a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are FirstPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPerform minor maintenance and repairs throughout the hospitalDuties include moving furniture, cleaning work areas, stocking shelves and replacing light bulbsAssist Senior Engineers, Senior Carpenters, Painters and Electrician Leads with troubleshooting and repairsAssist with plumbing, electrical, and/or air conditioning troubleshooting and repairsREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED equivalent and one year or more of maintenance experienceABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWESTUW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
