WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING HERE AT TEAM RCTHE DIVISIONWater Management Key responsibilities include helping to install, troubleshoot, and maintain irrigation systems. You will work under the supervision of a manager, follow instructions, and collaborate with others as needed. Additionally, you will keep records of work performed, track materials used, and assist in planning future maintenance activities. Part of the job involves inspecting systems, identifying areas where maintenance is needed, and ensuring equipment is safe and in good working condition. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of methods, common tools and equipment used in public works construction and maintenance work, basic safety precautions and procedures. Ability to perform skilled and unskilled maintenance work; operate and perform routine maintenance and servicing of a variety of power-driven equipment and power tools; understand and follow verbal and written instructions; work safely and efficiently with others and assist in the training of less experienced workers; deal tactfully with the public. Special Requirements: Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Possession of or ability to obtain a California Commercial Motor Vehicle Class A Driver's License with endorsements (air brake and tanker) and a satisfactory driving record as a condition of satisfactory completion of the probationary period. This position may require the ability to work an alternating shift schedule on a two-month rotation. Shifts may include weekends and holidays.
