Overview:

The Major Account Manager (Outside Sales) is responsible for driving growth in designated National Accounts within Centerline's strategic markets. This role focuses on developing and implementing strategic plans to expand business with existing accounts, identifying new market opportunities, and delivering a high level of service quality across national client partnerships.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement strategic plans to grow assigned National Accounts
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand Centerline's presence in targeted new markets
  • Collaborate with the National Account team to deliver Centerline's National Account Implementation plan effectively
  • Conduct regular face-to-face sales calls with key clients to ensure a strong, ongoing relationship
  • Provide a positive customer service experience, reinforcing Centerline's Value Added proposition
  • Support Account Managers to maintain high service standards across all client interactions
  • Maintain updated client records in Ultra Staff, ensuring timely and accurate submission of contract paperwork
  • Adhere to Centerline's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and ensure compliance in all client interactions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in a related field, such as staffing, transportation sales, tractor or trailer sales
  • Proven track record in national account management and business development
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in contract negotiation and effective communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time required

Salary Range:

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $82,730 and $107,550 per year, plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms. Also provided are a laptop, cell phone, home office, and supplies along with mileage reimbursement.

Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training and other considerations permitted by law. We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable law.
