The MGO will serve as a visible frontline fundraiser and manage a portfolio of approx. 125 individuals who have the capacity to give $50,000 or more.   • Identify, cultivate and play lead role in soliciting and closing major gifts of $50,000 and up, primarily from individual donors and college alumni;
  • Regularly conduct validation meetings with donors, alumni, and prospects who have not been previously visited to determine their giving potential and opportunities for engagement;
  • Recommend and implement short, intermediate and long-term individual major gifts cultivation and solicitation strategies for individual prospects (e.g. current donors, alumni, parents, trustees etc.);
  • Identify and engage new prospects for purposes of meeting Institutional Advancement fundraising goals;
