The purpose of this class is to oversee all aspects of administration and management of assigned College division or function. Bachelor's degree and three years of full-time relevant experience required. Also required is a proven track record, in corporate and/or foundation proposal writing and, in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and closure of major gifts in the area of $10,000 or more. Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly-organized, and experienced using online databases and other sources to locate biographical, financial, and philanthropic information. A high level of computer literacy required, including familiarity with Raisers Edge and Foundation Center databases.
* Develop and implement goals and objectives in coordination with senior management.
* Prepare, analyze and provide reports on donors and prospects as requested.
* Serve as liaison between College staff, departments, alumni, friends and other external entities.

* With the director of corporate & foundation relations, define goals, objectives, and metrics for the Corporate and Foundation Relations program.
* Persuasively communicate the organization's mission and programs to potential funders.
* Support all aspects of creating and submitting corporate and foundation grant proposals, including writing, preparation of supporting documentation, drafting and collection of required attachments.
* Establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with foundation contacts and program officers.
* Maintain calendar to ensure timely submission of letters of inquiry, proposal deadlines, and reports.
* Conduct research to identify corporate and foundation prospects that leverage diverse corporate and foundation goals and preferences with related college goals and priorities and maintain and use a current knowledge of the various foundation interests to actively seek to match them with college fundraising goals, needs, and priorities.
* Prioritize projects to keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines and manage supplemental material required for proposals.
* Develop and maintain a working knowledge of CCBC's priority areas for fundraising and work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to identify, develop and frame programs and plans that have the potential to attract grant and sponsorship funding.
* Participate in college meetings, events, and activities as appropriate and represent the department at community meetings and college functions.
