Join our innovative team and play a vital role in a patient's journey toward healing by ensuring accurate, timely results that drive better outcomes.In this role, you will:Perform routine and diagnostic mammography procedures.Assist with stereotactic biopsies.Track inventory and order supplies.Exhibit a high degree of tact, courtesy, and poise, explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.Process images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.Orient and train new hires.Perform other related duties as necessary.We require:Licensed from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Minimum of three (3) years of continuous experience in Mammography Excellent assessment, communication and organizational skills.Good computer knowledgeBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus)All openings are for daytime weekday hours.Salary up to $55 per hour.Benefits including Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1 of employment, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO time, 8 paid holidays (2 floating) and morePlease check our website at www.nycancer and follow us on Facebook.NYCBS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
