Job descriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality radiologic mammography exams, including advanced procedures, while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. This position requires technical proficiency and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care for adult patients.Key Responsibilities:Mammography Exams: Perform standard and advanced mammography procedures, such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages, following department protocols.Quality Control: Conduct quality control functions related to mammography to ensure accurate and reliable results.Patient Care: Provide care for adult patients between 18 to 64 years old, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the procedure.Technical Proficiency: Execute mammography procedures with high technical skill, delivering clear and accurate imaging results.Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to provide high-quality diagnostic images for patient care.Documentation: Accurately document patient information and procedures using EPIC EMR.Qualifications:Education: Completion of an accredited Radiology Program.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.Licenses/Certifications:ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.Other Requirements:COVID-19 vaccination.Experience with EPIC EMR.
