Job Description:
Position Title: Managed Services Network Infrastructure Engineer Role Overview: As a Managed Services Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead the implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge network and IT infrastructure solutions for our clients. Operating in a dynamic environment, you'll ensure seamless service delivery through agile methodologies and meticulous attention to detail. Your advanced knowledge and skills across various network components and technologies will be instrumental in driving client satisfaction and operational excellence. The Engineer will provide these services in a per-hour billing or flat rate monthly setting and will track all time, in either case, for proper billing and cost accounting. Your responsibilities will encompass managing and supporting a wide array of network devices and technologies, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client systems to identify optimization opportunities and strategize upgrades, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and industry best practices.
  • Deliver agile network services, encompassing in-house, remote, and on-site support.
  • Offer extensive technical support and expertise across a diverse range of networking components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices, employing advanced troubleshooting methodologies and innovative solutions to ensure seamless functionality and performance optimization.
  • Lead collaborative efforts with engineering teams to meticulously stage and deploy equipment. Orchestrate advanced integration strategies and rigorous testing protocols to guarantee flawless implementation and functionality alignment.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for our Managed Services Infrastructure Technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to resolve complex issues promptly and effectively.
  • Execute intricate infrastructure installations with precision and attention to detail.
  • Implement and validate backup procedures to maintain data integrity.
  • Document network configurations and setups with clarity and precision, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in coverage.
  • Tier 2/3 escalation point.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Possession of Cisco certifications such as CCNP and CCIE is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT/Managed Services engineer or technician, or equivalent work experience.
Work Environment: Experience a dynamic blend of office and field work, adapting to the evolving needs of our clients. Additional Requirements:
  • Open to regional travel opportunities to support our diverse client base.
  • Be flexible to accommodate occasional after-hours or overtime shifts.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support and resolution for critical issues outside of regular business hours.
