This role serves as a crucial link between the district and county training activities and the central office's technical training division at PennDOT, as well as the Office of Administration's Bureau of Talent Development. The individual in this position acts as the primary training coordinator for the district, responsible for overseeing and assigning training-related administrative and coordination tasks to county training coordinators.In addition to administrative responsibilities, this role includes serving as a local presenter, facilitator, or coordinator for a range of training programs, which encompass essential Human Resources and compliance training in collaboration with the OA Bureau of Talent Development, as well as technical training provided by PennDOT. When necessary, the coordinator also conducts informational or training sessions tailored to county organizations. The Learning Management System is employed to effectively schedule training sessions and manage resources, enroll participants, deliver training using established course materials, coordinate with external vendors, gather feedback on training programs, record training credits, maintain and audit training transcripts, and communicate training requirements to the relevant stakeholders.Interested in learning more?
