Geological Survey Management Analyst - Reston, Virginia

Summary: The U.S. Geological Survey is seeking a Management Analyst within the Office of Management Services. This position is classified as GS-13 with a salary range of $117,962 (Step 01) to $153,354 (Step 10).

Responsibilities:

As Program Manager for the Lifecycle Investment Program, oversee funding allocations, update the five-year plan, facilitate regional reviews, address cost center inquiries, and meet DOI reporting requirements.

Provide strategic policy direction and support for Bureau-wide facilities programs; develop and implement goals, practices, metrics, and schedules for efficient planning, funding, operation, and maintenance.

Support the Facilities Budget Sub-activity by preparing detailed reports, correspondence, and analyses for the Bureau, DOI, and OMB.

Manage the Bureau Housing Management Program, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with housing policies.

Continuously assess and apply DOI facilities management policies and collaborate with senior management to develop strategies that advance the agency's mission.

Conditions of Employment:

Selectee may be subject to serving a one-year probationary period.

Travel for official business and application for a charge card within 30 days of appointment.

A background investigation will be required.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience include overseeing lifecycle investment management for facilities, coordinating multi-year investment plans, managing housing administration, and preparing detailed correspondence and reports.
